The Bloodhound is known for his keen sense of smell which enables him to track a scent which is several days old. For this reason he is still used today to track criminals or to locate missing persons. The Blood hound is the largest and strongest of the scent hunting Hounds, and though intimidating in appearance, he is friendly and affectionate. He loves children and is likely to express his affection with huge wet kisses.
